after the two hours I spent on the phone/computer with Verizon and Apple yesterday due to my brand new effing phone not properly sending iMessages, I second this sentiment. Die a slow, horrible, painful death Apple. Die.

Apple could cease all business tomorrow and I wouldn’t be bothered by it, as long as there wasn’t any anti-monopoly stuff against other players in shared market segments.
Verizon, too, actually, if T-Mobile or a startup could have their towers.

Actually, Verizon sold its cell towers a few months back and pocketed a cool $5b. I think most cell towers now are in the hands of operators like American Tower, Crown, and SBA instead of being owned by the communication companies like ATT and Verizon.
